Unique HVAC solution for Oscar Niemeyer's iconic building in Segrate, Italy.
Project parameters
HC convectors for heating and cooling
approx. 1000 pcs.
Designed for the Arnoldo Mondadori Editore publishing house by the famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, this modernist structure, completed in 1975, has become an icon of European architecture with its giant concrete arches and suspended glass block over an artificial lake.
Mondadori Palace combines three main elements: a 200-meter-long glass office block suspended under parabolic arches, and two smaller buildings with organic shapes. The concrete arches with an irregular rhythm resemble musical notes, and the entire building, set in greenery and surrounded by a lake, provides a unique connection with nature.
As part of the renovation, we supplied almost a thousand atypical HC series convectors for heating and cooling to Mondadori Palace. Our engineers designed them precisely to meet the demanding technical parameters of the project and ensure optimal heating and cooling performance, as well as efficient installation in this exceptional architectural space.
